ASCENSION OF THE VOLCANO RINJANI - 5 Days / 4 Nights

Outline programm:

Day 01 BALI - MATARAM (-/-/-)
Arrival at airport of Mataram Selaparang, hosts and then transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free.

Day 02 SEMBALUN LAWANG (B/L/-)
At 6:00 am, leave from the hotel to the east of Lombok to the village of Lawang Sembalun, the starting point for the ascent. Relax for a while until a slight preparation, and after that everything is ready, let Sembalun Lawang Tengengean to rest and have a space open stilt - local people call. From Tengengean carries a source of Pade Bolong for lunch. Then climb up and Cemara Sewu Cemara Lima is about 2900 meters. Set up the tent and overnight.

Day 03 SEMBALUN LAWANG - LAKE Segara Anak (B/-/-)
Very early in the morning around 02:00. Explore further to reach the summit or peak of the volcano for the sunrise very beautiful (if the weather permits) and the amazing landscape environments. After having the experience surprising Rinjani volcano, go down by the lake Segara Anak (it takes 5 to 6 hours) where you can find a good place to go camping at the lake. There are hot spring nearby or you can even try a fishing lake. Spend the night on the banks of the lake.


Day 04 Segara Anak - SENARU - MATARAM (B/-/-)
Depart early morning from the Rinjani volcano rim before the temperature gets hot, then the road is all down the long hill to the north Senaru Rinjani volcano but with beautiful scenery and it will take 5 to 6 hours walking and after your driver is ready to accompany you to the hotel.


Day 05 Lombok - depart to airport (B/-/-)
Breakfast at the hotel, free morning until time to transfer to the airport for your return flight.
